Background: Talx, now Equifax, contacted APWI because Oce/Canon felt that our HostServe TM software could replace the VIPP conversion done by their Xerox DP100 printer. VIPP (Variable Intelligent Postscript Printing) is a proprietary Xerox print language. The company needed to convert VIPP into a common print language in a Windows environment.
