Cessna contacted APWI because Xerox was dropping support for their XES printers
CASE STUDY # 108 Company / User: Cessna Aircraft, Wichita, KS. Before: Cessna contacted APWI because Xerox was dropping support for their XES printers and Cessna was not prepared to stop using the applications that generated that type of data. XES (Xerox Escape Sequence) is a page description language (PDL) developed by Xerox corporation and introduced in 1982. The company needed to convert XES into a common print language in a Windows environment. After: APWI provided the HostServe TM software to enable this integration. Using the tools within HostServe TM, APWI solutions specialists accomplished the successful conversion of their XES data so that it ran successfully o
