Sweet Treat PROJECT: Konditor and Cook LOCATION: London PRODUCTS USED: HRC1945 Vertical Solid Reclaimed Pine, HW3968 Venture Plank Conquest Konditor and Cook, the London based premium cake retailer, commissioned integrated design company Small Back Room to create their latest shop in Fitzrovia to reflect their recent re-branding. The result is a tempting display with a sense of history punctuated by touches of fun, rich and warm from the company’s signature colour purple and Volunta Oak Black Sand, a 19mm fired plank with an oiled finish, on the floor. The Volunta collection contains a number of dark, rich, interesting finishes but Europlank’s Oak Midnight would provide a similar effect with a matt lacquered surface, or Lavardon PurePlank would be an FSC® option from stock products.
