Swedish Medical Center Issaquah Campus Overview As the largest hospital project this region had seen in 30 years, the Swedish Medical Center brought the community of Issaquah, Wash., into the next generation of healthcare. This 550,000 sf hospital is not only ahead of its time, but was completed ahead of schedule. Phase I of the new hospital included themedical office building, the Swedish Cancer Institute, an emergency department, pharmacy, laboratory, imaging center, and 8 retail stores. Phase II, which included the 175-bed inpatient hospital, opened in November 2011.
