To eliminate the chance of bacteria growing in the faucet aerators, the hospital staff removed all faucet aerators from patient rooms and support areas. This allowed most faucets to run unrestricted at flow rates exceeding 3 gallons per minute wast- ing water and energy. Infinity proposed the use of faucet moderators designed specifically for health care facilities. These moderators are laminar flow devices and do not draw air into the water stream. What’s more, they are manufactured with built in Agi
