THE PROBLEM To facilitate best use of space, the designers of a new restaurant being constructed within Highgate Studios in Kentish Town, London wanted to utilise an existing concrete cellar. The flooded cellar was suffering from ground water ingress and rainwater ingress from the car park above. A robust waterproofing design was required which would require highly skilled and meticulous installation by trained professionals.
