From SL2-20 Outage News at St Lucie Nuclear Power Plant – Florida Power and Light, FPL, Hutchinson Island, Florida Strong Teamwork Makes Thermal Sleeve Inspection Great Success During the Unit 2 10- Year Reactor Vessel In-service Inspection (ISI), the Safety Injection (SI) thermal sleeve on the 2A1 Cold Leg was found rotated and partially dislodged. And, the 2B1 SI Cold Leg Nozzle Thermal Sleeve was found completely dislodged at the bottom of the vessel annulus — a space between concentric circles — against the core support barrel skirt.
