STEM-PD: Re-imagining Professional Development for Teachers
Although an estimated $300 million a year is spent on teacher professional development (PD) in Washington State, teachers report that they often are not provided with the kinds of PD experiences that research shows are necessary to make it effective. With the introduction of new Common Core State Standards for Mathematics (CCSS-M) and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), teachers in Washington State must make significant changes to the
