CASE STUDY SOUND OF SPEED The Rotary Club of High Wycombe planned an ambitious event to raise funds for local charities, that involved allowing classic and modern cars to use a runway to test their speed and entertain fee paying public. The issues we discovered were ones of safety: Safety for the public driving to the site and mixing with the display cars; The drivers of the display cars who need to get to their parking bay, and then having to speed down the run-way, and then return to their space; all the time allowing the public to get up close to the cars. There were catering vans and other exhibitors all requiring specialist space and needing health and safety procedures and standards to be documented and met. The task for the Rotary Club was too large for us to make sure
