A global software and supply chain management company partnered with Insight to modernize IT and migrate from legacy infrastructure to Microsoft Azure after facing inefficiencies, high costs, and a pending data center lease termination. Insight conducted a SnapStart assessment, designed a new Azure framework, and created a multiphase migration roadmap. Over 18 months, nearly 3,000 servers were migrated with minimal downtime, while a new Infrastructure as Code-ready platform, CI/CD pipeline, and FinOps dashboard were implemented. The project retired end-of-life systems, cut provisioning from weeks to minutes, improved compliance and security, and fostered a cloud-focused culture across the organization.
