CASE STUDY: SOCIAL SERVICES CENTER A BALTIMORE-BASED NON-PROFIT THE CHALLENGE: A Baltimore-based non-profit wanted to expand the capabilities of its residential re-entry center by building out 5,000 square feet of unused space in their facility. The goal of this project was to complete the planned build out while incorporating energy and water efficient equipment. THE SOLUTION: The project owner worked with MD-PACE to deploy $785,000 of C-PACE financing into the build out of a new energy-efficient wing to their facility. The project is expected to save $3,100 in the first year after the build out is completed, and $80,000 in lifetime savings.
