The NYYC American Magic team relied on Altair CFD, structural simulation, and HPC solutions to design a competitive AC75 yacht for the 37th America’s Cup. Strict rules limited physical testing and prototype builds, making simulation essential. Simulation throughput increased dramatically, enabling parallel studies and rapid iteration. The integrated workflow improved hull, foil, and sail performance while reducing development risk.
