DECEMBER 2019 SHAPING A HEALTHCARE STRATEGY NORTH EAST AND NORTH CUMBRIA INTEGRATED CARE SYSTEM Key benefits and outcomes During the events the groups helped to identify areas of improvement and develop an integrated plan for the NENC Integrated Care System (ICS). The group developed: • recommendations for the ICS and presented these to the system leaders • engagement resources to inspire and reinforce the recommended actions and to help spread the word across the system • videos of the events, graphic art depicting what was discussed, and an animated video of the recommendations set out at each engagement event.
