IQVIA’s Linguistic Validation team translated and validated nine complex cognitive COAs into Japanese and U.S. Spanish under tight timelines. Normally requiring 16–20 weeks, the project was completed in 12 weeks by splitting key tasks across multiple PMs and leveraging internal linguists for rapid communication. Challenges included adapting recall and letter fluency tests to non-Latin alphabets and addressing cultural differences. IQVIA used concept elaborations, early clinician input, and streamlined workflows to ensure accuracy. The result was high-quality translations, maintained IRB timelines, and a replicable model for complex global COA projects.
