Sauna stereo systems
The sauna is a wooden stud and frame construction, clad on the inside and outside with Western Red Cedar panelling, and with foil and fibre insulation. The photographs shows the sauna under construction, and the Feonic audio drives were mounted on the outside of the sauna walls after they were completed. The solution consists of two F1.3’s and one S drive powered from a B&O distributed system providing a line feed to the treble driver amplifier and to the bass driver via a subwoofer amplifier. The units can be controlled by the B&O remote via a sensor unit mounted on the bathroom wall. The issue with sound systems in saunas is that conventional internal amplifier/speaker systems cannot be used in high humidity high temperatures of up to 90C. By having the so
