2018 Project Updates August 23: We received a development permit for the Kneehill 1 project from Kneehill County. April 13: We have received approval from the Alberta Utilities Commission to construct and operate Overview ATCO and Samsung C&T are planning to build and operate a 25 megawatt (MW) solar power generation facility located approximately 2.5 km northwest of Three Hills, Alberta. The project has the potential to generate approximately 44,000 megawatt hours (MWh) annually, which is enough to power approximately 6,000 households on average.
