KNEEHILL SOLAR GENERATION FACILITY PROJECT #2 KNEEHILL THE PROJECT ATCO and Samsung C&T are planning to build and operate a second 25 megawatt (MW) solar power generation facility located near Three Hills, Alberta. This project, "Kneehill 2", is located directly south of the approved "Kneehill 1" solar project. The project has the potential to generate approximately 44,000 megawatt hours (MWh) annually, which is enough to power approximately 6,000 households on average.
