UPS Specialist Applications has recently completed a project for a major UK ferry operator to refurbish one of the salt water filters on board a vessel. The ferry operator contacted UPS Specialist Applications and asked them to assess how the filter could be refurbished when the vessel next docked at port. The repair had to be completed within a 14 hour window and being situated in the engine room there had to be as little dust
