RMS-KHUH in Bahrain implemented Capsa Healthcare’s MedLink Medication Workstations to standardize and secure medication distribution. Integrated with their HOPE system and BCMA workflows, MedLink’s lockable drawers and wristband scanning reduced errors and improved efficiency. Nurses can load, verify, and track meds by patient, with automatic EMR updates. Modular design enabled easy expansion, and unit dose technology ensured precise dispensing. Benefits included faster workflows, organized storage, improved patient safety, and full traceability. Following success at RMS-KHUH, more MedLink carts were deployed in other Bahrain hospitals.
