Peter Brett (PBA) | Ronald McDonald House, Glasgow This new residential housing facility for the parents of sick children in the hospital provides an essential place of rest and support for families in their time of need, and is becoming a landmark Scottish building design in its own right. PBA provided civil and structural engineering services for the project, including the hybrid structural steel and timber frame design, and flood risk assessment services for the existing brownfield site. The building’s facilities include private bedrooms and lounge areas, laundry services, a communal kitchen, lounge and crèche.
