RMD Australia drives Bulahdelah bypass project The project involves the relocation of the Pacific Highway through the slopes of Bulahdelah Mountain to bypass the Bulahdelah township, which is located some 75km North of Newcastle. RMD Australia provided key elements for the construction of the bypass's Super T Bridge abutments as well as its two cast in-situ bridges. Using a formwork solution comprising Superslim Soldiers and Aluminium Beams, RMD Australia designed a system that was able to travel within the set limits governed by the unique shape and radius of each of the six bridge deck spans, enabling the casting of in-situ parapets.
