Long Rake Spar - Rhyl Promenade Long Rake Spar were thrilled to be involved in the recent Promenade Surfacing works carried out in Rhyl as part of the ‘West Rhyl Coastal Defence’ project. This project was designed to provide protection from flooding to more than 2,700 coastal properties, help to boost the local economy and attract visitors to the town and involved the installation of 3,000m2 of a variety of resin bonded aggregates supplied by Long Rake Spar. In 2015 Dawnus Construction and Denbighshire County Council contacted specialist Resin flooring contractor Coatech to provide an attractive and durable surface for the new promenade in keeping with the seaside environment.
