From our early involvement with the project a sequence of erection was developed to eliminate the risk to Network rail operations. This involved direct coordination with Network Rail and visiting Network rail headquarters in York. The sequence of erection and crane positions were carefully assessed and safety measures put in place. This included every column near the railway station being restrained with a wire rope fixed to an engineered bracket bolted to the foundations. Small stable
