Revealing the Treatment Landscape and Patient Pathways in a new Market

Pages 1 Pages

For a UK product launch in a market with no targeted treatments, IQVIA used its Longitudinal Patient Data (LPD) covering 8M+ records from 2,400 GPs. Pathway analysis showed patients waited an average of 273 days for primary care after diagnosis, with only 11% treated in primary care at all. Over five years, incidence dropped 20%, while treated patients rose just 8%. Despite uptake, 90% of patients remained untreated, with three products dominating 1st- and 2nd-line therapy. These findings guided launch planning, patient sizing, and market modeling.
