The welds, which are done on the inside of the frames, reduced the manual grinding of the welds and lowered costs, but cleaning them consistently was labor intensive and some of the welds were virtually impossible to reach. The Solution Serco Manufacturing Company suggested using its powder coating pretreat system, an immersion method, to clean parts like the hard to reach frame interiors.
