THE PROJECT An operator in West Africa was proposing to transit 13km between two well locations with the riser still deployed. Analysis of the rig move identified the top region of the riser being most at risk of bending, limiting the allowable environmental conditions of the move. This led the client to request an online monitoring system to monitor the bending incurred during the transit operation in real-time. THE BENEFITS ?
