Rapid construction techniques for Vine Court Eco-Residences On a very tight programme, which required completion in time for the start of the academic year, our engineering consultants took an innovative approach with rapid construction techniques and off-site manufacturing. Sustainability was a key feature of the new development so our mechanical and electrical engineering experts included a range of environmental features, such as air source heat pumps, green roofs and heat reclamation. Not only did this help the University of Liverpool meet its commitment to reducing its carbon footprint but also helped achieve a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating for the project.
