Provision of a suite of services across the Academy site to deliver real, measurable savings in cost and energy. Introduction IE were invited to advise on the overall energy management of the Academy site. There were multiple difficulties including inefficiencies in some parts of the old, 1950’s block which made energy reductions a hard area to prioritise. Electric, portable heaters had been brought in to supplement the poor heating, which was in turn, driving costs up. The unique mix of buildings on site meant that the Academy suffers from overheating as well as under heating and so bespoke, tailored solutions needed to be identified. What we did IE worked strategically across the full site, starting with an initial feasibility report. This gave a black and white priority
