This property, in a secluded mews in Maida Vale, was in a dilapidated condition with the living accommodation confi ned to the fi rst fl oor over a large ground fl oor garage, which had been the original coach house and stables. EHW were commissioned as architects to design an extension onto the roof, to add much-needed fl oor space, and to re- confi gure the dwelling to provide 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms over three fl oors whilst retaining a single garage. This complex project resulted in almost a total rebuild.
