The creation of a new paediatric emergency department in the vacant floor of the annexe building at Southampton General Hospital. Works include a paediatric waiting area, a new resuscitation area and the refurbishment of an area inside the emergency department to relocate the current pit stop area. The scheme is being delivered in two phases with each phase having multiple steps within them to create circulation around the works area to enable patients to reach their destination.
