ADLT Lighting Project Overview Yarrabilba is a planned community in southeast Queensland, located roughly half-way between Brisbane & the Gold Coast. The developers recently installed an art installation in the main garden area created by renowned indigenous artist Fiona Foley. The sculptural piece is called GUDJABUL, which in the local Yugambeh language means “native sweet bee” . Our brief was to light up the artwork, ensuring we showcased only the art pieces and not the entire space. Arcluce Motos were installed on top of a nearby barbeque hut, with a concentrated beam angle used to ensure maximum effect. Photo #2 - #4 (daytime) courtesy of AJ Moller Photography and Lendlease.
