Orange partnered with Vertiv to launch the Padus Lab in France, a prefabricated modular data center designed to test green telecom solutions and support Orange’s Engage 2025 plan toward net-zero carbon by 2040. Built in Croatia and installed in two days, the lab integrates Vertiv™ NetSure™ 400V HVDC power, lithium-ion batteries, Liebert® HPC-S freecooling, Knurr racks, and liquid/immersion cooling. It serves as a collaborative testbed for 5G and future networks, cutting energy use with 98% efficiency while enabling rapid deployment across geographies. The lab also functions as an education and innovation hub.
