OneSteel’s rod and wire division’s Newcastle plant wished to upgrade its existing 2000W metal halide floodlighting on multiple 25m high towers. The main business objectives were to lower the operating costs as well as the maintenance burden on the existing MH floods, which were frequently out because of the impact of wind on the longevity of the globes.
