Situated at the mouth of the Cynon valley, this purpose-built office building has been built for the ‘not for profit’ organisation, Venture Wales. Venture Wales is one of the leading business support organisations in the country specialising in helping businesses overcome challenges and to realise their full potential. The Problem: The clients wished to achieve a BREEAM Excellent standard for the offices. BREEAM is the most widely-used environmental assessment method for buildings which sets a standard for best practice in sustainable development and this meant meeting the 75kW capacity demand for heating and providing hot water without any support from fossil fuel heating.
