The current roof waterproofing system, which was made up of three layers of felt, had failed and was allowing water ingress into the operating theatre below. This was causing a great deal of disruption, especially when operating on patients. There is also a great deal of plant and air handling equipment on the roof with detail work that had been poorly waterproofed using felt. The client required a new waterproofing system
