Nova Scotia Mainline Weigh Station Project Description: IRD has worked with the Province of Nova Scotia to implement several mainline Weigh-In-Motion (WIM) systems throughout the province.The systems are complete design-build-maintain turnkey High Speed WIM (HSWIM) systems. The Nova Scotia systems utilize IRD’s Single Load Cell (SLC) WIM System combined with the iSINC® WIM Electronics for superior accuracy. Sorting systems weigh commercial vehicles on the mainline of the highway in motion and direct oending (over-weight) vehicles to exit ramps and weigh stations for additional processing.
