Nottinghamshire County Council Simplifies Procurement With Arco
Two years ago Nottinghamshire County Council went through a restructure that highlighted it had many different ways to buy personal protective equipment (PPE), each offering different service levels and prices. As a result the Council decided to reduce the number of suppliers they use and move towards using only contracted vendors, with the aim of securing better value for money, at the same time as ensuring employees were correctly protected with a refreshed range of products. This project saved on average 15% on a value of £400,000 over a Four year term.
