CENTRAL PLANT Northwell Health New Chiller Plant for Huntington Hospital Huntington, NY Lizardos prepared contract drawings and supervised the installation of a new roof top chiller plant for Huntington Hospital. The design provided the installation of four (4) Carrier Aquaforce Chillers, each nominally rated at 410-tons. The new chillers, each with dual screw compressors, each produce 340-tons of cooling for a 35% propylene glycol solution. The chillers were rigged onto new dunnage steel by an extension crane. Included in the design was the reconstruction of the North Penthouse Mechanical Equipment Room with the installation of three (3) new, vertical in-line, chilled water pumps, each rated for 970 gpm at 120-feet TDH.
