On Wednesday 21st December we had a big dilemma! Most of Swadlincote had woke up in darkness due to a power cut. The power was o from roughly 6:00Am to 9:00AM which is a critical time for Mainline operations. It’s when we get a lot of our kit ready for the day ahead. Losing this time would have caused issues for us, and also our customers. Luckily, we saved the day! Within about 25 minutes, we had connected a 110Kva Generator up and we’re running as if nothing had happened! Generators for events are brilliant. They’re also really fun for us to run!
