Nether Silton Parish Council, Thirsk
A quaint small village on the boundary of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, Nether Silton is the epitome of village life. With a population of 100 people and no bus service the Parish Council were very keen to have a suitable play area for the village children to play on in a safe environment. Paul Nicholson was in charge of the project and had already secured funding through the North Yorkshire Play builder scheme. The Parish Council had also worked hard to fund raise and were able to match the funding available. Consultations then took place between the design team here at Image Playgrounds, Paul and members of the community.
