By optimizing Amazon EC2 instances with Intel® Xeon® processors, Netflix achieved a 3.5x performance boost per CPU, surpassing expected scaling. Using Intel® oneAPI Deep Neural Network Library and AVX-512, Netflix improved video encoding speeds during off-peak hours, enabling more efficient use of resources. This collaboration allowed Netflix to accelerate data movement and AI workloads, ensuring a smooth and personalized viewing experience across all devices.
