ND Department of Transportation, State Aid Bridge Construction | US Highway 49 – Mercer County, ND, ND Scope of Work Wanzek Construction, Inc. was hired by Border States Paving to work on the ND Department of Transportation State Aid ProjectNo. SOIB-5-049(014)082 (PCN-18686). This project consisted of the demolition and replacement of two bridges south of Beulah, ND on US Hwy 49. The first bridge constructed was a single span 106’ bridge over Brush Creek. The second bridge constructed was a three-span 288’ bridge over the Knife River.
