By 2013, the facility became capable of producing enough enriched uranium to supply 25 percent of the nation’s power demand. The facility’s Quality Level 1 structures, which include approximately 1 million covered square feet, are constructed of fortied concrete produced on-site, using materials from locations across the southwestern United States.
