Modern building in Germany
After construction began in March 2015, the laying of the foundation stone for one of the most modern buildings in Germany followed in June of the same year. On 13 September 2017 the handover of the keys took place – and the opening of the entire Futurium is planned for spring 2019. The Futurium is located in the heart of Berlin in a meander of the river Spree, between the Reichstag building and the central station, and its unique and modern architecture enriches the government district. The Futurium stage, museum, laboratory and Forum for the future is on three oors and around 3,200 square metres of exhibition space.
