Internal Use Only RESULTS Flash MicroCDOpen and ProCoat Achieve Outstanding CD Coat Weight Results Arjo Wiggins, Bessé sur Braye, France, has obtained exceptional results for CD coat weight profile control on its T3 and T4 coaters with ProCoat actuators and MicroCDOpen controls. CD Weight 2-Sigma Reduction MicroCDOpen and ProCoat actuators have improved coat weight variability: 60% reduction in CD coat weight 2-sigma variation for the T3 coater, and 59% for T4. Consistently, the CD 2-sigma spreads are below 1.0 gsm for both coaters. The existing QCS is a Honeywell Vision 2002 ET with subtractive coat weight measurement.
