METRO ALGIERS LINE 1, EXTENSION C, SECTION EL HARRACH-AIN NAADJA 2 Facts Project Description The contract includes 3.1 km metro line with two underground stations and one ground level station. The section's biggest part is a tunnel with 1,825 m long, excavated using the New Austrian Tunnelling Method (NATM). Furthermore the project comprises the construction of a 132 m wide bridge, retaining walls and open-cut tunnelling.
