Met 2 - Baker Concrete Project Overview As a part of Metropolitan Miami’s mixed-use development, the Met 2 office tower is one of four skyscrapers located in the heart of the downtown business district. Suffolk Construction selected Baker Concrete to perform the total package concrete on the $310 million towers. The project consists of a 47- story tower with a total of 753,000 square feet of Class A office space along with a sizable 1,500 car parking garage, meeting space and ballroom. Baker’s scope included the superstructure and slab on grade work totaling over 1.5 million square feet of reinforced concrete.
