Northern Region Northern Region Institutional Institutional Project Overview Project Overview Cincinnati’s Rosenthal Center for Contemporary Arts was hailed by the New York Times architecture critic Herbert Muschamp as “the most important American building to be completed since the cold war.” Designed by internationally acclaimed architect Zaha Hadid, this mesmerizing facility is cantilevered over what appears to be only a tiny sheet of glass surrounding the ground-oor lobby. Baker met this challenging, exotic project with pride, knowing that they were to have a part in building one of the most fascinating structures in the city.
