Mammoth Cave Campground Expansion Impact Analysis Cave City, Kentucky Hunden Strategic Partners evaluated the application to the Kentucky Tourism Development Act (KTDA) to expand the Yogi Bear Jellystone Campground Mammoth Cave (JCMC) facility in Cave City, Kentucky. Cave City is 90 miles northeast of Nashville, Tennessee and 90 miles south of Louisville, Kentucky. The property is located less than two miles east of Interstate 65 and within five miles of Mammoth Cave National Park. Mammoth Cave National Park is a nearly 53,000-acre U.S. National Park located in Central Kentucky. The park’s main attraction is the Mammoth Cave system, which is the longest known cave system in the world.
