PROJECT: East Mamma’s LOCATION: Paris PRODUCTS USED: Relik Reclaimed Flooring This casual-dining restaurant in the 11th Arrondissement is inspired by the trattorias of Italy, but there will be few Italian trattorias which are quite so chic. Designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio – ?the company behind more than twenty Jamie’s Italian restaurants, as well as a wealth of more formal eateries in both the UK and overseas – the brief was for a fresh, fun and authentic space. Lime green marble and brilliant yellow ceramic tiles dress the multiple bars, evoking sunny southern climes, whilst the brightly coloured, traditionally- styled padded leather seating, old brick and rough plaster are truly reminiscent of a thousand Italian hostelries.
